Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Crashing Mashin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Six Shooter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Shooter's choice of entrance music: DJ Antoine - Ma Cherie. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Six Shooter!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crashing Mashin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shooter.

Crashing Mashin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shooter napping and manages to drive through into side control!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Shooter is not in a great position here, taking some shots.


It looks like Six Shooter has been cut.
You can see the frustration on Shooter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Crashing Mashin tries to move into full mount but can't pass Shooter's legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crashing Mashin landing strikes.


That has opened up Six Shooter's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Crashing Mashin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shooter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ground and pound from Crashing Mashin seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Shooter manages to work his way to half guard, despite Crashing Mashin's best efforts.
Shooter wants to improve his position but Crashing Mashin is controlling well.

Shooter keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Shooter moves into full guard.
Crashing Mashin is in close to Shooter's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Crashing Mashin controls from within his opponent's guard.
Shooter working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Crashing Mashin.
Shooter wants to sweep but no luck.
Crashing Mashin wants to control from the top but Shooter keeps moving.
Crashing Mashin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Shooter is trying to control the position but Crashing Mashin postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crashing Mashin trying to control the position from guard on top but Shooter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Shooter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Crashing Mashin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Shooter dives on top into guard.
Crashing Mashin is trying to keep Shooter in close.

Crashing Mashin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shooter defends well.
Shooter lands a couple of elbows.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shooter is fighting to break Crashing Mashin's control of his arms but Crashing Mashin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Shooter's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Shooter wants to pass the guard but Crashing Mashin is keeping the position.
Crashing Mashin seems keen to control Shooter's posture.
Shooter wants to control from the top but Crashing Mashin keeps moving.

Crashing Mashin looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Shooter is defending well. Crashing Mashin quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Shooter has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Crashing Mashin celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Renato Crashing Mashin!
After the fight, Renato Crashing Mashin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
