16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Katsu Higashikuni! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yoko Gushiken! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Higashikuni misses with a wild body shot. Gushiken misses with a wild combination.
A slow jab from Higashikuni misses its intended target. Higashikuni misses with an uppercut. Higashikuni shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Excellent takedown into side control there by Higashikuni. Gushiken wants to get back to his feet but Higashikuni is dominant here and he's now got Gushiken's back! Even with his hooks in, Higashikuni manages to miss with strikes from the back. Higashikuni punishes Gushiken with strikes from the back mount. Gushiken is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Higashikuni off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Higashikuni has his opponent's back but Gushiken is looking to stand.
