Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lubomir Aleksandrowicz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Quijote! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aleksandrowicz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Quijote. Quijote circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Don Quijote has been cut. Aleksandrowicz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Aleksandrowicz dodges the punch combination from Quijote.
Quijote throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Aleksandrowicz counters with a series of strikes. Quijote will be more careful next time no doubt. This has been an exciting period of action! Aleksandrowicz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Quijote counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Quijote displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Aleksandrowicz. Jab, jab by Quijote - just one landing. Aleksandrowicz avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Quijote swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Aleksandrowicz lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Quijote throws a right and a left that Aleksandrowicz avoids nicely. Quijote misses with a two punch combination.
Aleksandrowicz has managed to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aleksandrowicz drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Quijote gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Aleksandrowicz has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Quijote after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lubomir Aleksandrowicz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aleksandrowicz prevents Quijote from breaking the clinch. Quijote is defending well against a takedown attempt. Aleksandrowicz wants to get back to striking at distance but Quijote won't allow it.

Quijote has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Aleksandrowicz is proving hard to escape from. Quijote won't allow Aleksandrowicz to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aleksandrowicz trying to strike off his back.
Aleksandrowicz pulls Quijote in to control the position. Aleksandrowicz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Aleksandrowicz wants to get back to his feet but Quijote is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aleksandrowicz controls Quijote momentarily but Quijote frees himself. Quijote is looking to stand up but Aleksandrowicz won't let him.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Aleksandrowicz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Aleksandrowicz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Quijote lands a jab to Aleksandrowicz's midsection. Don Quijote is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Aleksandrowicz throws a left and a right that both miss
and Quijote counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Lubomir Aleksandrowicz has been cut. Lubomir Aleksandrowicz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Aleksandrowicz tries for a takedown but Quijote sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Don Quijote will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Aleksandrowicz walks into a stiff left hand from Quijote. Aleksandrowicz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A combination from Quijote does no damage. Aleksandrowicz tries to clinch up. Quijote is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Quijote drops Aleksandrowicz with a beautiful combination! Aleksandrowicz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Quijote is looking for the KO!
Aleksandrowicz is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aleksandrowicz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quijote tries to avoid it but Aleksandrowicz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quijote to the ground. Quijote escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Aleksandrowicz shoots in looking for a takedown but Quijote manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Aleksandrowicz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lubomir Aleksandrowicz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aleksandrowicz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Quijote sprawls well. Quijote wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aleksandrowicz gets slowly back to his feet. Quijote drops Aleksandrowicz with a huge uppercut! Aleksandrowicz drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Quijote is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Quijote! A less than humble Don Quijote misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
