Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Cider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Liddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Cider! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cider fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Liddell avoids it really well and circles away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Cider pulls guard effortlessly. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Cider manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Liddell manages to get himself to full guard.
Liddell throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Cider thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Cider passes into half guard. Liddell is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Cider content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Cider throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Cider is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Justin Cider has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Cider fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cider defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Liddell. Liddell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cider. Liddell wants to clinch and Cider moves into the clinch. Liddell's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Cider's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Liddell stalks Cider and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cider's face. Cider staggers backwards, shaken.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cider shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Liddell sprawls well. Liddell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cider gets slowly back to his feet. Chuck Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Cider. Liddell throws a right and a left that Cider avoids nicely. Liddell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fight moves into the clinch position. Cider pulls guard successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cider lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Liddell! Cider tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Cider landing strikes from the mount and Liddell is in trouble! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cider looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Liddell is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Cider dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Liddell throws a right and a left that both miss. Liddell avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cider darts in and clinches Liddell up against the cage. Cider looking for a takedown. Cider can't get the takedown.
Cider is looking to take this one to the mat. Chuck Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Cider. Liddell avoids a wild elbow strike from Cider. Liddell wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cider jumps into guard, dragging Liddell to the mat.
Cider has his hands on Liddell's head, controlling the position. Liddell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cider on the ground. Let's hope that Cider has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Cider is looking for a triangle but Liddell pushes his legs off easily.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Justin Cider was stalling too much, according to the referee. Liddell misses with a combination
and Cider counters with a body kick that stops Liddell in his tracks momentarily. Cider has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cider escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cider fails to land the takedown. Sloppy strikes from Liddell. Those never looked like landing. Cider shoots in looking for a takedown but Liddell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cider's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cider. Cider is breathing heavily. Cider throws a sloppy body shot
and Liddell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Cider pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cider shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liddell as he jumps to the side. No joy there for Liddell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cider closes this distance looking for a takedown but Liddell circles away. Liddell lands with an overhand left. Liddell dips to his left and cracks Cider with an uppercut!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Cider looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Liddell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cider pinned against the cage. Cider gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Cider tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddell swivels and escapes. Liddell throws a nice looking combination but Cider bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cider thows a body shot but no joy. Cider moves in looking to clinch but Liddell pushes him off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Cider showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Cider drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Liddell swats away the attempt to clinch by Cider. Liddell lands a nice looking body shot.
Liddell leaves Cider with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Liddell throws the kick towards the body but Cider avoids it. Cider misses with a takedown attempt - Liddell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Liddell tries to sprawl out of it but Cider keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Liddell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Liddell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

He's got his arms around Liddell's waist but Liddell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cider off to one side. Cider tries to clinch but Liddell is having none of it. Liddell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cider fails with a takedown attempt. Liddell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Justin Cider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A left and a right from Liddell both land. Nice combination. Cider dodges the punch combination from Liddell.
Liddell takes a kick to the side of the head. Liddell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Chuck Liddell is winning the standup battle so far. Cider shoots in but no luck this time. Liddell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Liddell moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Liddell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nice sprawl there from Liddell as Cider shoots in. Liddell throws a series of strikes that have Cider backpedaling.
Liddell lands a jab-cross combination. Cider shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Liddell defends it nicely. Cider swings widly with a right hand
and Liddell counters with a series of strikes. Cider will be more careful next time no doubt. Chuck Liddell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Justin Cider is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Nice takedown defense from Cider. No joy for Liddell on that attempt.
