Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Allan Starsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaito Rin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Starsky might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sabaton - 40 : 1. Rin has chosen Tracktor Bowling - Scars as his entrance music. The key to victory for Allan Starsky has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaito Rin!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rin keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Starsky takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A nice inside leg kick there by Starsky. That's going to slow Rin down.
Rin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Starsky moves away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Starsky.
Rin avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Starsky misses with a low kick as Rin jumps back.

and Starsky counters with a leg kick.
Rin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Starsky was well out of range. Poor timing from Rin.

Starsky looks to land a body kick but Rin moved away.
Rin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Starsky scores with a punch to the head.
Starsky takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Starsky avoids the body shot from Rin.
Rin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Starsky tries to move into range but Rin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Starsky lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Starsky pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rin is out of range and Starsky settles back down.

Rin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rin sizes up Starsky with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Rin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Starsky is not content to let Rin control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Starsky wants to get back to his feet but Rin drags him back down.
Starsky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rin on the ground.

The strikes coming from Rin are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Rin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Starsky on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Starsky tries to get out of the position.

Rin is trying to ground and pound but Starsky uses the momentary lack of control by Rin to regain half guard.
Starsky is not content to let Rin control the position.

Rin wants to work for an arm triangle but Starsky is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rin wants to free his trapped foot but Starsky is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Rin wants to take a breather but Starsky is having none of it.
Starsky blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rin.
Rin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Rin frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kaito Rin dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Rin throws out a loose jab but Starsky uses good head movement to avoid it.
Starsky lands a nice shot that snaps Rin's head back.
Rin throws a body punch but Starsky moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rin is defended easily by Starsky.
Rin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rin there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Starsky counters with a thumping low kick.
Starsky throws a hook but Rin blocks it.
Rin is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Starsky rather than just go for the knockout.
Rin scores with a jab to the head.
Starsky slaps away a takedown attempt from Rin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Starsky dodges the punch combination from Rin.
Starsky moves out of range of the strikes.

Rin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Starsky throws a low kick but Rin moves out of range easily.
Rin avoids the head kick by Starsky.
Rin lands a jab to Starsky's midsection.
Kaito Rin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rin gets the takedown into side control.
Starsky is trying to get back to his feet.
Rin moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Rin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Starsky keeps working.
Rin advances nicely into full mount.

Rin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Rin is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Starsky has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Rin throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Rin is looking to control Starsky but Starsky is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Kaito Rin has got the better of the ground game so far.
Starsky covering up well under a series of strikes from Rin.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Starsky throws a leg kick but Rin sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Rin just misses with a punch to the body.

Rin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rin swings for the body but Starsky moves out of range.

Rin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Rin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Starsky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Starsky is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Starsky has escaped and now he's on top!

Starsky has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rin is proving hard to escape from.
Rin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Starsky is one step ahead there.

Rin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Rin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rin maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Starsky could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Rin has cracked it and Starsky is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Rin!
