Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ivan ORourke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Giordano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giordano tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but ORourke swivels and escapes.
ORourke will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Giordano shoots in but no luck this time.
Giordano swats away the attempt to clinch by ORourke.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

so Giordano counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
ORourke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

ORourke has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Giordano has gone for a leg lock! ORourke slips out almost immediately though and dives into Giordano's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
ORourke avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Giordano closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
ORourke throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A solid leg kick lands there for ORourke.

and Giordano counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Giordano tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. ORourke just stands there and leans against the cage.

Giordano has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. ORourke is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Giordano.

ORourke tries to advance to mount but Giordano denies him.
Giordano looks to move to half guard but instead ORourke has passed into mount! Damn!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Giordano decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in ORourke's guard.

Austin Giordano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Giordano has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
