Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Corey Haim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Cozad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haim's entrance music is Keep Me In Your Heart. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Corey Haim has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Corey Haim seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Haim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Cozad! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cozad misses with an uppercut
and Haim counters with a shoot takedown. Cozad fights it but they end up in guard. Haim is looking to work some ground and pound but Cozad has wrist control. Haim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Haim is fighting to break Cozad's control of his arms but Cozad is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Let's hope that Cozad has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Cozad is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Charles Cozad was stalling too much, according to the referee. Haim gets a takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Haim not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haim wants to control but Cozad is keeping him busy. Cozad is looking to improve his position.
Haim wants to control but Cozad is keeping him busy. Cozad has a hand on Haim's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Haim takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Haim goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cozad turns into him and now he's in Haim's guard.
Cozad works a leg free and moves into half guard. Haim keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haim is pressing down on Cozad's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Haim keeping moving, preventing Cozad from controlling successfully. Cozad throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Haim works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Haim manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cozad manages to get himself to full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Haim controls the pace of the fight for a moment. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cozad controls Haim momentarily but Haim frees himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Charles Cozad. Haim closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cozad circles away. Haim fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cozad looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Haim doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cozad counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Corey Haim has been cut. Haim tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cozad swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corey Haim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cozad explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Cozad lands a jab-cross combination. Nice takedown defense from Cozad. No joy for Haim on that attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haim shoots in and drives through. Cozad sprawls well. This has been an exciting period of action! Haim doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cozad counters with a nice body kick. Haim shoots in looking for a takedown. Cozad tries to sprawl out of it but Haim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cozad manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Haim fails with a takedown attempt. Haim is breathing heavily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cozad tries to clinch there but Haim circles away.
Haim shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Corey Haim will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Corey Haim's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Cozad moves in looking to clinch but Haim pushes him off. Haim fails with the takedown and Cozad counters with a head kick. That will keep Haim thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Haim misses with a takedown attempt - Cozad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Corey Haim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cozad leaves Haim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corey Haim. That's going to take a lot out of him. A combination from Cozad does no damage. Haim fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cozad avoids it really well and circles away. Haim takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Charles Cozad seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cozad goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Haim is rocked! Haim shoots in and drives through. Cozad sprawls well. Cozad lands a head kick that stumbles Haim and the fighters go to the mat. Oh Haim is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cozad throwing strikes but missing. Cozad loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Haim has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Cozad has passed into side control.
Cozad swings around for an armbar but Haim sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cozad's guard. Cozad has control of Haim's left arm, preventing Haim from doing any damage. Haim seems to have got his legs back now. Cozad trying to control the position.
Cozad is pulling down on Haim's head. It's preventing any offense from Haim, at least for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cozad is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Haim postures up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Charles Cozad wasn't active enough on the ground. Cozad fails in his attempt to clinch. Cozad gets caught flat footed, as Haim shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Corey Haim overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Cozad bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Haim's guard. Haim working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Cozad has passed into half guard!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cozad working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Haim keeping moving, preventing Cozad from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cozad accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Haim is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Cozad doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cozad manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Cozad wants to pass the guard but Haim is keeping the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charles Cozad showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Corey Haim's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Haim throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Haim dives in and grabs Cozad's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cozad pushes down on Haim's head and hops out. Haim looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Haim walks into a stiff left hand from Cozad. Cozad turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Cozad misses with a double jab.
Corey Haim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cozad fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Haim shoots in looking for a takedown but Cozad manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Haim's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Haim lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fight stays on the outside here - Cozad looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cozad moves out of range as Haim strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Cozad. No joy for Haim on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corey Haim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cozad sizes up Haim with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The crowd cheers as Cozad lands an impressive looking overhand right. Haim doesn't seem phased though. Cozad tries a head kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Haim changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cozad tries to avoid it but Haim manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cozad to the ground. Cozad escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. No joy there for Haim, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Haim missing with a left hand there. Cozad was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Haim shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cozad as he jumps to the side. A jab lands there for Cozad. Haim misses with a series of wild punches.
Haim fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Haim shoots for a double leg takedown but Cozad sprawls well. He's pushed Haim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cozad has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Cozad shoots in and drives through. Haim sprawls well. Danga de danga de dang - Cozad scores with a four punch combination! Cozad defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Haim. Cozad has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Haim shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cozad as he avoids it easily. Cozad looks for a takedown but Haim sprawls well. Cozad fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haim throws a nice looking combination but Cozad bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Haim misses the shot to the body. Haim shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cozad is trying to defend but Haim finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Cozad tries to roll over but Haim keeps him under control. Haim stalling. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Haim trying to control the action but Cozad is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Charles Cozad. I think Cozad has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
