The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Artis shoots in but no luck this time.
Pain misses with a double jab.
Lex Artis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Artis gets a takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Artis thows a huge punch but Pain dodges it nicely.
Pain keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Pain wants to get back to full guard.
Pain on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Pain is looking for a sweep. Artis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Artis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Pain has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Artis is working away from the top position though.
Pain is trying to stand up here but Artis is controlling him well.
Artis lands a big elbow - Pain is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Artis!
