Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marti Pico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mak Artur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Artur's choice of entrance music: I shall return. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Artur rushes Pico and presses him up against the cage.
Pico has picked Artur up - he's going for a ride! Pico dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Artur is looking to improve his position.
Artur looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Pico prevents Artur from improving his position.
Artur has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Pico escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Pico!
Pico is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Artur has escaped the position, nice work there.
Artur is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pico off and has taken his back!

Artur looking to break Pico's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pico remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Artur will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Artur keeps control of the position as Pico tries to break free.

Artur looking to break Pico's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pico remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Artur will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Artur is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pico is defending well though. Artur let's go of the attempt for now.

Pico is in a bad position with Artur working for a choke. Pico manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
Pico got a little sloppy there for a moment and Artur has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pico has managed to get both his arms back between Artur's legs - danger averted.
Artur isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Pico stacks Artur on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Pico!
Artur is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Artur sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Pico is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Artur is just riding it out for now. Pico eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pico is looking for a kimura but Artur is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pico to get the leverage.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Artur is working for a kimura here but Pico manages to reverse the position and he's now in Artur's guard.
Pico avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Artur bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Artur is pushing down on Pico's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pico is fighting to maintain full guard but Artur has managed to sneak the leg through.

Artur wants to advance to full mount but Pico doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Artur passes Pico's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Artur wants to work for an arm triangle but Pico is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Artur is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pico defends it well.

Artur tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pico knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Artur is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Artur is trying to work for a kimura but Pico is defending well.
Artur working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Pico's thigh. Pico counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Artur has gone for a leg lock! Pico slips out almost immediately though and dives into Artur's guard.
Artur had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pico defends it easily.

Artur has his foot on Pico's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pico works his way back into a safe position though.

Mak Artur showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Artur shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pico is trying to defend but Artur finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Artur is working for an americana but Pico has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Artur was thinking about the submission.

Artur drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pico dives on top into guard.
Artur is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Pico rolls with it to try and escape but Artur cranks on the arm and Pico is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
