Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Rotch!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Tangcalagan 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Tangcalagan moves forwards but Rotch connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Rotch fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Tangcalagan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rotch lands with an overhand left.

Tangcalagan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tangcalagan closes the distance and clinches up with Rotch, looking for a takedown. Tangcalagan pushes Rotch against the cage but Rotch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tangcalagan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rotch connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tangcalagan scrambles back to his feet.
Tangcalagan walks into a left hand.
Rotch feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tangcalagans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Rotch connects with a nice looking jab.
Oh Tangcalagan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tangcalagan drives through and clinches with Rotch against the cage.
Tangcalagan turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Tangcalagan seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Rotch is trying to improve his position.
Tangcalagan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rotch has escaped the position, nice work there.
Rotch is trying to buck Tangcalagan off.

Rotch stops Tangcalagan from passing to mount.

Rotch is looking for a sweep.
Tangcalagan decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Tangcalagan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tangcalagan there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rotch throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tangcalagan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

It looks like Adrian Tangcalagan has been cut.
Rotch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rotch smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tangcalagan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rotch's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rotch tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rotch avoids the head kick by Tangcalagan.
Tangcalagan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tangcalagan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Rotch lands a nice hook to Tangcalagan's body. Tangcalagan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Tangcalagan dives in and grabs Rotch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rotch pushes down on Tangcalagan's head and hops out.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rotch lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Tangcalagan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Rotch scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Tangcalagan doesn't manage to clinch there - Rotch circles away.
Tangcalagan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Tangcalagan shoots in looking for a takedown but Rotch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tangcalagan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Rotch's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tangcalagan under the eye.

Tangcalagan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tangcalagan drops his hands momentarily and Rotch takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Rotch comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rotch cracks Tangcalagan with a hook to the temple - Tangcalagan is on wobbly legs here! Rotch swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Tangcalagan falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Rotch wins by TKO!
