The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Merrilin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Merrilin controlling the position from side mount. Van Perkin tries to escape but Merrilin is in control. Merrilin is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Van Perkin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Merrilin gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Van Perkin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Merrilin lets go of the hold and Van Perkin can pop his arm back in it's socket.
