Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanimir Kurdov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Montilo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montilo has chosen No Easy Way Out as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Kurdov scores with a three punch combo!
Montilo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Montilo tries to close the distance and clinch but Kurdov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Montilo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kurdov is aware though and is defending well.

Kurdov cracks Montilo with a solid left hand.

Kurdov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Montilo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kurdov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Oh but Montilo is tightening it up a little... Kurdov has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kurdov reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kurdov taps out! Nice BJJ there by Montilo!
