The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crosby looks to land a combination but Ard avoids it well.
Crosby tries to bum rush Ard with a series of wild strikes but Ard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ard shoots in looking for a takedown but Crosby manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ard's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Crosby misses with a looping left.
Crosby feints and as Ard raises his hands in defense, Crosby changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ard is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Crosby has his hands clasped together but Ard extends an breaks Crosby's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ard.
