Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Jass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Boschat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Thor Boschat was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boschat slaps away a takedown attempt from Jass, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jass.
Jass shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugh Jass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jass shoots in and drives through. Boschat sprawls well.
Jass shoots for a double leg takedown but Boschat sprawls well. He's pushed Jass's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jass closes the distance and clinches up with Boschat, looking for a takedown. Jass pushes Boschat against the cage but Boschat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jass decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
