The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mifsud tests Wazed's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mifsud lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mifsud fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wazed manages to avoid it.
Michael Mifsud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wazed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mifsud.
Mifsud connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wazed momentarily.
Wazed is rocked!
Mifsud darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Wazed's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Mifsud before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
