Maiden's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Walk. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maiden ducks under a wild hook from Haley.
Maiden shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Maiden showed some decent athleticism there.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Haley cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Haley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Maiden looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maiden is trying desperately to improve position.
Haley pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Haley unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Maiden wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Haley celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Dan Haley really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that KAISER logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
