Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bryan McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Kurosawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bryan McGregor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Kurosawa! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurosawa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McGregor sprawls well. McGregor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kurosawa gets slowly back to his feet. McGregor keeps the fight on the outside. McGregor fails with the takedown and Kurosawa moves into the clinch. Kurosawa just leaning against McGregor, taking a breather. Kurosawa tries to pull guard but McGregor won't allow it.

Bryan McGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Kurosawa. McGregor keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kurosawa's efforts to push away. Kurosawa is looking to take this one to the mat. McGregor manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kurosawa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McGregor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McGregor has escaped and now he's on top! Kurosawa keeping moving, preventing McGregor from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurosawa has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. McGregor trying to control but Kurosawa is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGregor wants to pass the guard but Kurosawa is keeping the position. McGregor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kurosawa on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurosawa is looking for a triangle but McGregor pushes his legs off easily.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Bryan McGregor just wasn't active enough. McGregor on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kurosawa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kurosawa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McGregor struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurosawa wants to stand but McGregor is controlling his arm. Kurosawa taking a breather here. McGregor wants to control but Kurosawa postures up. Kurosawa working the ground and pound. Kurosawa wants to lay and pray for a moment but McGregor keeps working. Kurosawa tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. McGregor is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurosawa is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down McGregor's shoulder. That is not cool. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Good work by McGregor as he checks the leg kick. Sloppy strikes from McGregor. Those never looked like landing. McGregor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kurosawa avoids it really well and circles away. Kurosawa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McGregor sprawls well initially but Kurosawa persists and gets the takedown into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kurosawa trying to control the action but McGregor is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Akira Kurosawa dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
McGregor shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kurosawa eats them both and turns towards McGregor to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. McGregor is looking to clinch. McGregor closes the distance looking to clinch and Kurosawa counters with a three punch combo that has McGregor backing up. McGregor nods at Kurosawa to acknowledge the strikes. McGregor throws a head kick that half lands.
McGregor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kurosawa tries to avoid it but McGregor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kurosawa to the ground. Kurosawa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bryan McGregor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McGregor looks to clinch and Kurosawa counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Kurosawa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kurosawa drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Akira Kurosawa has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kurosawa controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurosawa's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kurosawa wants to stand but McGregor has a closed guard, so he can't escape. McGregor looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kurosawa has picked McGregor up and slammed him! McGregor can't keep hold of the triangle and Kurosawa manages to pass to side control! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McGregor is not content to let Kurosawa control the position. Kurosawa wants to stand but McGregor is controlling his arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McGregor is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Kurosawa tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. A lull in the action here. McGregor tries to control but Kurosawa manages to take his back. Kurosawa tries to keep control of the position but McGregor is staying busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGregor wants to escape the position.

Kurosawa has good solid back control here. McGregor just trying to survive but Kurosawa is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. McGregor looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. McGregor is trying to break free.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurosawa controls the position. Kurosawa is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged McGregor with him. McGregor is trying to defend but Kurosawa has an arm under the chin now! McGregor grimaces and is forced to tap out!
