Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Guillet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kelvin Guillet! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz tries to clinch there but Guillet circles away.
Diaz shoots for a takedown but Guillet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Diaz lands a head kick. Guillet smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Diaz has Guillet up against the cage in a clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Guillet has picked Diaz up - he's going for a ride! Guillet dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Guillet looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's one minute gone in the round. Guillet uses his free foot to push down on Diaz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Diaz. Diaz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guillet moves to back control. Guillet is riding his opponent, not letting Diaz buck him off. Diaz trying to control the hands but Guillet breaks the grip.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guillet keeps control of the position easily here as Diaz tries to buck him off.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Guillet. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Diaz is in bad spot here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diaz is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Guillet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Guillet tightening his grip on Diaz, looking for the choke. Diaz is trying to break free.
Guillet is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Diaz has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Guillet has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Diaz taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Guillet doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kelvin Guillet! Kelvin Guillet decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
