Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Claus Lundekvam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geo Lou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lundekvam comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Battery. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Claus Lundekvam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Geo Lou! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lundekvam connects with the punch. Lou will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nice sprawl there from Lundekvam as Lou shoots in. Lundekvam fails to land the takedown. Lou is looking to clinch but Lundekvam is avoiding it.
Lou is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sloppy strikes from Lundekvam. Those never looked like landing. Lou clinches with his opponent.

Lundekvam is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lou gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Lundekvam is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lou pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Claus Lundekvam. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lundekvam wants a takedown.
Lundekvam tries to score a body lock takedown but Lou shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lou gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lundekvam.
Lundekvam is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lou can't fight it off and eventually Lundekvam manages to take the fight to the floor. Lou looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Lou is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lundekvam forces his way into half guard. Lou manages to get to full guard.
Lou is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lou's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Lundekvam knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lou on the ground. Lou is looking to sinch up a triangle. Lundekvam throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lou's body to avoid the submission. Lou has instead reached around Lundekvam's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lou arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
