Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trey Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Elliott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed comes into the arena with LAX Files-The Game blaring out of the sound system. Trey Reed could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Keith Elliott's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trey Reed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keith Elliott!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliott will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Reed misses with a double jab.
Reed shoots in for a takedown but Elliott shows good takedown defense.
Elliott throws a right and a left that both miss.
Elliott throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reed.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Reed.
Elliott misses with a strike from the bottom.
Reed working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Elliott tries to buck Reed off but Reed is having none of it.
Elliott parries the strikes from Reed easily there. Reed is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Elliott to escape.
You can see the frustration on Elliott's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Elliott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Reed tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Reed has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Reed cracks Elliott with a big right hand but Elliott just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Reed lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Reed not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Elliott is positioning himself well to prevent Reed advancing to mount.
Elliott has hold of Reed's hands but Reed slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Reed missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Elliott is looking to improve his position.
Reed is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Elliott is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Reed not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trey Reed dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Reed lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Reed misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Elliott and Reed goes tumbling to the canvas! Elliott follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.


Reed is rocked!
Elliott takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Oh Reed is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reed seems to have got his legs back now.
Elliott wants to take a breather but Reed is having none of it.
Elliott performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Trey Reed overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Elliott works his foot free and advances to mount.

Reed is squirming around, avoiding Elliott's attempts to control the action.

Elliott stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Reed fails to land with a series of punches.
Elliott moves in looking to clinch but Reed pushes him off.
Reed misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Horrible takedown by Elliott or perhaps it was just good defense by Reed which made him look bad.
Reed keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Elliott lands with a big right hook that stumbles Reed - he's out on his feet here! Elliott follows up with another monster hook that separates Reed from consciousness! Reed falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Elliott stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Keith Elliott!
