Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Cerdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjj Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cerdan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to French National Anthem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 11 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcel Cerdan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bjj Spar! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spar slips a jab from Cerdan. Cerdan punishes Spar's body with a nice straight punch. Cerdan scores with a hook. Cerdan scores with a punch to the head. Cerdan moves into range and clinches up with Spar. Cerdan misses with a short punch on the inside. A short body shot lands from Cerdan as the two fighters clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A short right hand to the side of the head by Cerdan. Spar working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Cerdan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Spars head. Spar changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cerdan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Cerdan lands a jab. Cerdan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Spar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Spar avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spar has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Spar there as he acknowledges the shot. Cerdan throws a lazy right hand but Spar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Spar drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Cerdan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Spar is controlling him. Cerdan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Spar off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Cerdan scores with a shot to the body.
Spar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cerdan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Spar somewhat. Cerdan lands with a straight right. Spar didn't see that one coming. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cerdan lands with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cerdan throws a good cross that connects.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cerdan. Spar does a little dance to reset his feet. Cerdan scores with a jab.
Spar is rocked! Marcel Cerdan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Good standup being displayed there by Cerdan as he connects with a hook. Spar is still on wobbly legs! Can Cerdan finish him? Spar fails with a takedown attempt. Marcel Cerdan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjj Spar. Spar gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Cerdan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcel Cerdan! After the big win, Marcel Cerdan made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Namunamu Clothing and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
