Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elroy Kleinschmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenric Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle has chosen Simply Ravishing as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Elroy Kleinschmidt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenric Kyle! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kleinschmidt misses with a straight left. Kleinschmidt scoring well with a low kick there.

Kleinschmidt ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kleinschmidt throws a leg kick that is checked and Kyle counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kyle prevents Kleinschmidt from getting back to his feet. Kleinschmidt preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kleinschmidt is trying to control the position from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kyle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kyle wants to pass the guard but Kleinschmidt is keeping the position. Kyle postures up.

Kleinschmidt is looking to stand up but Kyle isn't so interested in that idea. Kyle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kleinschmidt's guard. Kyle slips a nice elbow through Kleinschmidt's hands, connecting with Kleinschmidt's forehead. Kleinschmidt keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kyle is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Kleinschmidt as he works his way to full guard.

Kleinschmidt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kyle won't allow Kleinschmidt to sweep him here. Kyle works over Kleinschmidt with some ground and pound from guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Now he's in top in Kleinschmidt's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kyle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kleinschmidt is pulling down on Kyle's head to control his posture. Kyle won't allow Kleinschmidt to sweep him here. Kyle throwing strikes but missing. Kleinschmidt can't keep his opponent in guard - Kyle advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kyle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kleinschmidt defends it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenric Kyle dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kleinschmidt avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kyle. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Kyle lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kyle. Kleinschmidt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kyle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kleinschmidt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kyle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kleinschmidt.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kyle seems to be working for a kimura but Kleinschmidt defends the submission attempt.

Kyle looks to land a strike but Kleinschmidt avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Kyle throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kyle pushing down on Kleinschmidt's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kyle is looking to advance position but Kleinschmidt won't allow it. Kleinschmidt avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kyle. Kyle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kyle is thwarting Kleinschmidt's attempts to control the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kleinschmidt regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kyle. Kleinschmidt misses with a straight right. Good exchange - Kyle coming out on top. Kyle uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kleinschmidt. Kyle lands a leg kick that knocks Kleinschmidt off balance momentarily. Kyle thows a body shot but no joy. Kleinschmidt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kyle. A bone on bone clash there as Kleinschmidt blocks the leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyle looks to land a right hand but Kleinschmidt moved out of range. Kyle takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Kyle works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Kleinschmidt lands with a good body shot. Kyle throws a leg kick but Kleinschmidt moved away. Kleinschmidt walks into a straight right hand from Kyle.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kyle takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kleinschmidt drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kyle scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Elroy Kleinschmidt has been cut. Kyle cracks Kleinschmidt with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Kleinschmidt falls to his knees and Kyle doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
