Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaz Inad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaz Inad is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kaz Inad!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inad cracks a nice hook into Allen's ribs.
Allen moves to clinch but Inad breaks away
and Inad counters with a left and a right that stings Allen.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Allen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Inad sprawls well. Inad wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Allen gets slowly back to his feet.
Allen tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Inad counters with a crisp one two that drops Allen! Inad thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Allen to his feet! Allen is in big trouble!
Allen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Inad sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Allen somewhat.
Allen tries to clinch but Inad is having none of it.
Allen takes one to the side of the head.
Inad keeps the fight on the outside.
Allen misses with a takedown attempt - Inad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Inad closes the distance and clinches.
Allen tries to pull guard but Inad forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Allen jumps guard but Inad turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Allen is breathing heavily.

James Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Inad counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Inad closes the distance and clinches.
Allen jumps guard but Inad turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Allen. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Allen is fighting off a takedown attempt but Inad is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Allen to the mat. Allen regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Inad slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Inad seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Allen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Inad doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Inad manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Inad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Allen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Allen is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Inad rolls with it to try and escape but Allen cranks on the arm and Inad is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
