Knight is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Stars that Play with Laughing Sams Dice by Jimi Hendrix. Ethan Van Vactor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rockford Knight's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Van Vactor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rockford Knight!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight throws a right and a left that both miss.
Van Vactor tries for a takedown but Knight sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Van Vactor closes the distance and clinches up with Knight, looking for a takedown. Van Vactor pushes Knight against the cage but Knight circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Van Vactor is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Knight is just riding it out for now. Van Vactor eventually gives up the hold.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Knight can do anything to dispel that myth.

Knight really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Van Vactor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round but I would say that Ethan Van Vactor will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Knight, as that shot connected.

Knight darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Oh Van Vactor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Knight fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Van Vactor seems to have got his legs back now.

Knight tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Van Vactor was well out of range. Poor timing from Knight.

Rockford Knight showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Knight sends Van Vactor crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Knight is motioning to the referee to let Van Vactor up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Van Vactor walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Knight! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rockford Knight!
A relieved looking Rockford Knight thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
