Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Riley Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uncomfortably Numb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall comes to the cage accompanied by I Shot the Sheriff by Eric Clapton. Uncomfortably Numb has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Uncomfortably Numb!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Numb counters with a thumping low kick.
Numb has a takedown stuffed.
Numb tries to score a power double leg takedown but Marshall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Numb somewhat.
Marshall stalks Numb and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Numb's face. Numb staggers backwards, shaken.
Numb looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marshall is fending him off so far but Numb persists. Nope, Marshall circles away and we're back to standing.

Marshall struggles to land a body shot inside as Numb controls his hands.

Marshall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Numb shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marshall pinned against the cage. Marshall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Marshall misses with a lunging right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Marshall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Marshall wants it to stay on the feet.
Marshall is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Marshall looks to land a right hand but Numb moved out of range.
Numb ducks under a wild hook from Marshall.
Marshall avoids the head kick by Numb.
Numb shoots in for a takedown but Marshall shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Numb feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Numb takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Numb closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Marshall's guard.
Numb throws an elbow that misses. Marshall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Numb's guard. Nice move by Marshall!
Numb looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Marshall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Numb escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marshall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Marshall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Marshall wants to control from the top but Numb keeps moving.
Marshall wants to get up but he can't break Numb's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Numb is trying to keep Marshall in close.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Marshall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Numb is proving hard to escape from.

Marshall gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Numb fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Numb tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Marshall swivels and escapes.

Marshall forces Numb back against the cage and clinches.
Numb wants a takedown but no success here.

Numb drops his hands for a split second and Marshall immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Numb face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Marshall follows up with a right hand that knocks Numb into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
