Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marques Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Kleszczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marques Campbell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Kleszczynski! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Campbell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kleszczynski.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kleszczynski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kleszczynski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Campbell shoots for a takedown but Kleszczynski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kleszczynski gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Campbell to score an easy takedown into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Campbell looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Campbell stands up from Kleszczynski's guard - Campbell perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kleszczynski slaps away a takedown attempt from Campbell, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kleszczynski closes the distance and clinches. Campbell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kleszczynski shoots in looking for a takedown. Campbell tries to sprawl out of it but Kleszczynski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Campbell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Campbell shoots for a takedown but Kleszczynski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marques Campbell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kleszczynski closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Campbell quickly recovers to half guard. Campbell tries to get to full guard but Kleszczynski has control of the leg.

Kleszczynski keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Campbell actively working from the bottom here. Campbell controlling the position well. Kleszczynski tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Campbell is positioning himself well to prevent Kleszczynski advancing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kleszczynski missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kleszczynski sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kleszczynski throws a strike but Campbell avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Campbell working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kleszczynski. Kleszczynski trying to control but Campbell is working from the bottom. Kleszczynski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Campbell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kleszczynski is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kleszczynski advances position into side control! Kleszczynski tries to score with some ground and pound. Campbell controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Kleszczynski blocks the strikes from Campbell.
Campbell is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kleszczynski is controlling him well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Campbell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kleszczynski wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Campbell is breathing heavily. Campbell sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kleszczynski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Campbell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kleszczynski wants to pass the guard but Campbell is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mike Kleszczynski will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Campbell misses with a wild body shot. Campbell shoots in and drives through. Kleszczynski sprawls well. Campbell tries to clinch but Kleszczynski is having none of it. Campbell fails with the takedown. Kleszczynski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Campbell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Campbell throws a head kick that Kleszczynski semi-blocks.

Kleszczynski throws a right and a left that Campbell avoids nicely. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kleszczynski shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kleszczynski lands with a nice combination. Campbell backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Marques Campbell has been cut. Kleszczynski clinches with his opponent.
Kleszczynski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Campbell smiles and moves away.
Kleszczynski fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kleszczynski. Kleszczynski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Campbell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Campbell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kleszczynski circles away. Kleszczynski's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kleszczynski duly obliges. Kleszczynski moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kleszczynski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Campbell tries to avoid it but Kleszczynski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Campbell to the ground. Campbell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kleszczynski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Campbell is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Campbell has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kleszczynski is proving hard to escape from. Marques Campbell overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kleszczynski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Campbell manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Campbell has his foot on Kleszczynski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kleszczynski works his way back into a safe position though. Kleszczynski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Campbell wants to stand but Kleszczynski is controlling the position. Campbell looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kleszczynski puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kleszczynski decides to return to a standing position. Campbell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kleszczynski. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kleszczynski enables Campbell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kleszczynski manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mike Kleszczynski will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Marques Campbell's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Campbell tries to keep at a distance but Kleszczynski has taken the fight into the clinch. Kleszczynski drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Campbell jumps guard and drags Kleszczynski to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Campbell wants to sweep here but Kleszczynski controlling him for the moment. Kleszczynski is looking to advance position but Campbell has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Kleszczynski is trying to escape the mount.
Kleszczynski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Campbell cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Campbell looking to control but Kleszczynski is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Campbell fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kleszczynski tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kleszczynski is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Campbell controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Campbell landing strikes, looking to finish! Poor strikes thrown by Campbell there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kleszczynski can't escape the position.
Campbell raining down hammerfists from mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Campbell wants to control the pace but Kleszczynski is squirming around nicely. Kleszczynski is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Campbell wants to control the pace but Kleszczynski is squirming around nicely. Campbell is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kleszczynski is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
