Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ballard Magnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rajja Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan has chosen tubular bells as his entrance music. Rajja Khan has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ballard Magnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 2, fighting out of London, Rajja Khan! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Khan. Khan looks to land a combination but Magnar avoids it well. Magnar lands a nice looking body shot.
Magnar pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Khan swings for the body but Magnar moves out of range.
Khan looks for the body kick but Magnar saw that one coming. Magnar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Khan. Magnar misses with a wild body shot. Magnar throws a poor cross that misses
and Khan counters with a straight right hand. Magnar throws a leg kick but Khan sees it coming and moves out of range. Khan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Magnar. Magnar throws a nice looking combination but Khan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Khan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Magnar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Khan cracks Magnar with a big elbow. Magnar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Khan on the ground. Magnar wants to control but Khan postures up. Khan in side control lands a decent elbow. Khan throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Magnar works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan throws a strike but Magnar avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Khan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Magnar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Khan wants to control from the top but Magnar keeps moving. Khan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Khan pushes down on Magnar's leg and manages to get into half guard. Khan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Khan is looking for a kimura but Magnar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Khan to get the leverage. Magnar avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Khan. Magnar is looking to control Khan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Magnar avoid being mounted? Khan is trying to control. Magnar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Khan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Magnar is not content to let Khan control the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Khan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Magnar defending well though. Khan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Magnar sees it coming and defends easily. Khan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Khan working the head and body with strikes. Khan is keen to just control but Magnar is a slippery customer. Magnar avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Khan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Magnar is looking to get back to is feet but Khan passes into side control.
Khan looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Khan cracks Magnar with a big elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Khan is trying to ground and pound but Magnar uses the momentary lack of control by Khan to regain half guard. Khan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Magnar's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Khan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Khan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rajja Khan dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Magnar gets off balance looking for a body kick letting Khan counter with a right hand. Magnar throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Khan counters by moving into the clinch. Khan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. An inside leg kick from Magnar misses. Magnar missing with a left hand there. Khan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Magnar throws a poor cross that misses
and Khan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Magnar misses the shot to the body. Khan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Magnar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Magnar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. No joy there for Magnar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Khan throws a nice inside leg kick. Khan lands with a nice combination. Magnar backs away looking to recover. Khan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Magnar at a distance.
Khan scores with a hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Khan moves away from the strike by Magnar. Magnar throws a predictable looking body shot
and Khan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magnar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Khan shoots in for a double leg but Magnar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Khan throws a head kick that misses and Magnar counters with a slapping leg kick. Magnar is looking to chop away at Khan's legs. Khan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Khan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Magnar's guard. Khan won't allow Magnar to sweep him here. Khan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Khan works over Magnar with some ground and pound from guard. Khan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rajja Khan has got the better of the ground game so far. Khan scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Khan trying to control the position from guard on top but Magnar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Khan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Magnar works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Khan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Khan with a flurry of punches that miss. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Khan postures up in Magnar's guard and throws a big left but Magnar blocks it. Khan is in close to Magnar's body, working some short punches and elbows. Khan advances to half guard. Khan trying to control the action but Magnar is working from the bottom. Khan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Magnar defending well though. Khan working over Magnar with some ground and pound. Magnar looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Khan thows a huge punch but Magnar dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Magnar is not content to let Khan control the position. Khan wants to pass to mount but Magnar is defending the position. Khan passes to side control. Khan sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Magnar is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Magnar avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Khan. Khan wants to control but Magnar is keeping him busy. Khan landing a few strikes. Khan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Khan misses with the ground and pound. Khan lands an elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Magnar takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Khan looks up at the clock and then as Magnar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Khan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Khan wants to control but Magnar is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rajja Khan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Khan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A swing and a miss from Magnar. Magnar thuds his right hand into Khan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A punch lands to the side of Khan 's head but he takes it in his stride. Khan slips under a jab from Magnar. Khan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Khan moves into range and connects with a jab. Magnar misses with a leg kick and Khan counters with a nice uppercut. Magnar moves forwards but Khan connects with a nice, crisp jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Khan ducks under a wild hook from Magnar. Magnar swings widly with a right hand
and Khan counters with a straight right hand. Khan throws a combination. Magnar tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Ballard Magnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Magnar misses. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Magnar misses. Magnar tries a head kick but it misses.
Khan tries to clinch there but Magnar circles away.
Khan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Magnar swivels and escapes. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Magnar.
Khan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Magnar misses with a straight left. Khan lands a high kick!
Khan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Magnar. A solid leg kick lands there for Khan.
Magnar needs to keep his hands up - Khan had a free shot at his head there. Khan scores with a spinning back kick! Rajja Khan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Magnar drops his hands momentarily and Khan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Magnar throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Khan counters with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Khan, right into the meat.
Khan darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Khan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Magnar's calf. Khan connects with a crisp jab. Khan lands a head kick!
Khan moves out of range as Magnar strikes. Magnar throws a leg kick but Khan sees it coming and moves out of range. Magnar missing with a left hand there. Khan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Khan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Magnar. Khan throws a leg kick which misses Magnar's front leg but catches the back leg as Magnar tries to avoid it. A jab lands there for Khan. Magnar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Khan. Ballard Magnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rajja Khan. Magnar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Khan manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magnar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Khan moves away. Nice body kick there by Khan. Khan catches Magnar with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Khan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Magnar on his heels. He'll look to pass Magnar's guard now, I'm sure. Magnar keeping full guard, as Khan tries to pass. Khan with a flurry of punches that miss. Ballard Magnar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Khan trying to control the position from guard on top but Magnar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Khan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Magnar tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magnar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Khan. Magnar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Khan landing some decent shots from guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Khan chips away with some ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Khan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Khan stands up over Magnar, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Khan lands a couple of decent looking shots. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Khan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Khan advances position into side control! Rajja Khan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Magnar takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
And that's the end of the fight! Rajja Khan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Khan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
