Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morris Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pawel Karpinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karpinski is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Type O Negative "Christian Woman". The key to victory for Morris Green has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Karpinski!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green instigates a clinch.

Green is trying to push Karpinski away but Karpinski has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Green has had enough of the clinch but Karpinski keeps him there for the moment.
Green is looking to break free of the clinch but Karpinski has double underhooks.
Karpinski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Green smiles and moves away.

Green could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Karpinski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Green defends it nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Green is trying to control. Karpinski wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Green looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Karpinski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Karpinski is trying desperately to improve position.

Karpinski manages to regain half guard. Good work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Karpinski can do anything to dispel that myth.
Karpinski tries to kick Green off but Green keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Green is just content to waste time from the top position. Karpinski takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Morris Green will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Morris Green will probably get the nod.
