Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Masta Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andres Laranja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laranja instigates a clinch.
Ace is trying to break the clinch but Laranja has him pressed against the cage.
Laranja's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ace fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Laranja to the ground. Ace is now in Laranja's guard.
Laranja manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ace is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Laranja thowing shots but they're missing.
Ace is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ace is working hard here to advance position.
Laranja controlling the position easily from mount.

Ace is trying desperately to improve position.
Ace holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Laranja tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Laranja is breathing heavily.

Ace ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Laranja moves away.

and Laranja counters with a nice uppercut.
Laranja with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Laranja lands a nice hook to Ace's body. Ace takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Laranja is defended easily by Ace.
Ace closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ace frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ace tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Ace stands up from mount. Strange move.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Laranja misses with a takedown attempt
and Ace decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Laranja's guard.
Ace wants to control from the top but Laranja keeps moving.
Ace lands a couple of elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Masta Ace dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Ace has a takedown stuffed.
Ace shoots in looking for a takedown but Laranja manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ace's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ace moves in looking to clinch but Laranja pushes him off.
Laranja clinches up against the cage.
Laranja stalls.
Laranja is trying to drag Ace to the mat but Ace just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ace tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Laranja smiles and moves away.

Laranja shoots in for a takedown but Ace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Masta Ace.
I think Ace has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
