Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Hodges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teixeira comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lil Terror kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hodges goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Teixeira comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hodges uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Teixeira.
Hodges staying out of range there.
Teixeira throws out a powerful jab.
Teixeira lands a right hook to the body.
Hodges walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Teixeira takes a swing at Hodges's ribcage but misses.
Teixeira scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Teixeira looks to score with a jab to the body but Hodges is just out of range.
Teixeira misses the shot to the body.
Teixeira wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Hodges misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Teixeira throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hodges stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Richard Teixeira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hodges throws a looping overhand right but Teixeira ducks down to avoid it.

Teixeira misses with a wild body shot.
Teixeira moves out of range of the body kick.

Hodges throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Teixeira cracks Hodges with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Hodges dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Teixeira. That did some damage!

Teixeira fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hodges manages to avoid it.

Hodges tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Teixeira was well out of range. Poor timing from Hodges.

Teixeira lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice uppercut lands for Teixeira. That snapped Hodges's head back.
Teixeira thuds a left hand into Hodges's body.
Teixeira lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hodges.

Oh Hodges is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Teixeira lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hodges. Hodges tries to recover but Teixeira is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hodges lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
