Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Griffinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Out Here Grindin-DJ Khaled as his entrance music. Darius Jackson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darius Jackson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a wild combination.
Jackson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Jackson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Griffinn. Jackson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jackson drives through with a takedown into guard. Griffinn looking for a guillotine here but Jackson defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Griffinn jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jackson manages to avoid the submission attempt. Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jackson throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Jackson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Griffinn prevents Jackson from standing back up.

Griffinn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Griffinn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Jackson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Griffinn manages to regain half guard. Good work. Griffinn wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Griffinn avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Griffinn punching from the bottom.

He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jackson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jackson taps out! nice BJJ there by Griffinn!
