Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Bain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cesar Diaz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Bain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cesar Diaz! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bain's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bain duly obliges. Diaz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bain sprawls well. Bain wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet.
Bain closes the distance and clinches. Bain is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Bain drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Diaz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Diaz is looking for a takedown.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz tries for a takedown. No joy.
James Bain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesar Diaz. Diaz is looking to take this one to the mat. Diaz is working for takedown but Bain is calmly controlling the position for now. Diaz drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bain content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Bain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bain tries to clinch there but Diaz circles away.
Diaz shoots in for a double leg but Bain sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Diaz tries to score a body lock takedown but Bain shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Bain is pressed up against the cage. Diaz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bain down to the mat. Bain avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A punch lands to the side of Diaz 's head but he takes it in his stride. Diaz tries to clinch and Bain counters with a straight right hand. Bain stuffs the takedown attempt from Diaz. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet.
Bain takes the fight into the clinch. Diaz drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bain is pressed up against the cage. Diaz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bain down to the mat. Bain avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Bain. Diaz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bain wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Diaz stops Bain from passing to mount. Bain trying to control the position but Diaz is working away.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bain's best efforts.
Diaz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bain pulls his head out easily. Diaz is trying to control but Bain passes into side control!
Bain in side control, just content to control the action for now. Bain seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Diaz for as long as he can get away with. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bain working away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diaz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Bain dominated that round. That's time! Bain's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Diaz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bain instigates a clinch. Diaz looking for a takedown.
Bain breaks the clinch.
Bain scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Bain closes the distance and pushes Diaz back into the cage.
Bain lands a takedown into guard.
Diaz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bain's guard. Bain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Diaz trying to control but Bain is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bain trying to keep a closed guard but Diaz is proving a slippery customer.
Bain is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Diaz is controlling him. Bain looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Diaz wants to control from the top but Bain keeps moving.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bain lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Bain stalks Diaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Diaz's face. Diaz staggers backwards, shaken. Bain lands with an overhand left.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Diaz shoots in and gets a takedown into Bain's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bain is trying to control the position but Diaz postures up. Diaz sitting in guard here, content to control. Diaz scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Diaz landing some decent shots from guard. Diaz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diaz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bain wants to stand but Diaz is controlling the position. Diaz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Diaz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bain knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bain pushes Diaz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Diaz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bain taking punishment in the form of punches.
Diaz trying to control the position but Bain is working away. Diaz has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Bain! Diaz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bain is looking to escape. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bain is in a horrible position here. Diaz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cesar Diaz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Bain's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A jab from Bain does it's job there. Diaz misses with a low kick. Bain is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jab from Bain. Diaz throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Bain leaves Diaz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diaz circles away. Bain tries to clinch but Diaz is having none of it. Diaz has a takedown stuffed. No luck with that takedown attempt from Diaz. James Bain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesar Diaz. No luck for Bain with that takedown attempt. Bain has a takedown stuffed.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Bain checks a low kick from Diaz. Cesar Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diaz stuffs the takedown.
Bain takes the fight into the clinch.
Bain has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Diaz clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Diaz tries to roll but Bain sticks to his back.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz staying busy and making it hard for Bain to control. Diaz rolls, trying to escape but Bain keeps control of the position.
Diaz just trying to survive but Bain is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Bain doesn't have the hooks in and Diaz manages to turn into his guard.
Diaz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Diaz slips nicely into half guard. Bain is in trouble now - Diaz has advanced to mount! Diaz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Diaz looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Diaz with a couple of short strikes. Bain on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bain tries to get out of the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diaz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. And that's the end of the fight! Cesar Diaz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Diaz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
