Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hato Kan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Drysdale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hato Kan! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drysdale shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kan as he jumps to the side. Kan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Drysdale manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hato Kan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kan moves into the clinch. Drysdale is working for takedown but Kan is calmly controlling the position for now. Kan manages to break the clinch.
Kan clinches up against the cage. Kan landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Kan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Drysdale shoots in for a takedown but Kan shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Drysdale. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kan wants to clinch up but Drysdale keeps it at a distance. Kan checks a low kick from Drysdale. Kan tries a head kick but it misses.

Kan tries to clinch but Drysdale is having none of it. Kan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kan leaves Drysdale with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hato Kan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kan tries to bum rush Drysdale with a series of wild strikes but Drysdale uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Drysdale avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Drysdale. Drysdale throws the left hand but Kan avoids the punch easily. Drysdale tries to keep at a distance but Kan has taken the fight into the clinch. Kan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drysdale dives in and grabs Kan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kan pushes down on Drysdale's head and hops out. Kan wants to clinch. Kan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kan clinches up with Drysdale and pushes him back against the cage. Kan misses with a knee to the head. Drysdale tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kan smiles and moves away.
Kan throws a body kick that misses. Kan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kan fails to land with a series of punches.
Drysdale swats away the attempt to clinch by Kan. Drysdale throws a low kick, looking for Kan's leg but Kan calmly moves out of range. Drysdale will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Drysdale takes the fight into the clinch. Drysdale avoiding damage as Kan throws knees to the body.
Kan tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Drysdale avoids it. Kan with a knee to the head.
Kan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Drysdale tries to clinch up but Kan circles away and keeps his distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kan looks winded! Drysdale takes the fight into the clinch. Kan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Drysdale blocks it with crossed arms. Kan looking to throw knees to the head but Drysdale is blocking nicely.
Drysdale is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kan misses with a knee strike.

Drysdale throws a head kick that misses and Kan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kan darts in and clinches Drysdale up against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Drysdale prevents Kan from breaking the clinch. Drysdale can't get the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hato Kan dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kan looks to clinch and Drysdale counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kan won't be happy with that. Drysdale misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Kan tries to escape but Drysdale is in control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drysdale thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Drysdale staying calm. Kan wants to get back to his feet but Drysdale drags him back down. Drysdale wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kan, who protects the arm well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kan is pushing Drysdale's head away, looking to escape. Drysdale manages to hold on to the position though. Kan is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kan is not content to let Drysdale control the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kan is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Drysdale is controlling him well. Drysdale moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Kan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Drysdale happy to just control the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drysdale. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Drysdale advances to mount. Drysdale is landing with some decent strikes but Kan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Drysdale controlling from mount. Drysdale raining down hammerfists from mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. BOOM! Drysdale connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Drysdale controlling the position easily from mount. Drysdale cracks Kan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Kan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Drysdale trying to control the position from guard on top but Kan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kan wants to stand but Drysdale is controlling the position. Drysdale controlling from the top position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Robert Drysdale just wasn't active enough. Kan looks to land a combination but Drysdale avoids it well.

Hato Kan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Drysdale fails with an attempt to clinch.
Drysdale shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kan defends it nicely. Kan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Drysdale moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kan throws a hook but Drysdale blocks it. Drysdale rushes Kan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kan throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kan breaks the clinch.
Hato Kan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kan throws an overhand right that lands on Drysdale's shoulder, as Drysdale tries to avoid the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drysdale is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Drysdale. Kan darts in trying to clinch and Drysdale counters with a takedown into side control. Robert Drysdale overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Drysdale trying to control the action but Kan is working from the bottom. Drysdale is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kan's shoulder. That is not cool. Drysdale works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drysdale takes a little break here. Kan wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Drysdale has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kan! Drysdale controlling from the full mount. Drysdale landing shots from mount. Drysdale controlling the position easily from mount. Drysdale has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Kan is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drysdale is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Kan is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Kan flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Drysdale anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Kan and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Drysdale slips an arm under Kan chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Drysdale has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Drysdale is squeezing on Kan like an anaconda would it's prey. Kan fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
