Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timo Vilonainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Susi Solmunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solmunen has chosen Blood Is Thicker Than Water as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Timo Vilonainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Susi Solmunen!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vilonainen tries for a takedown but Solmunen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Vilonainen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Solmunen shoots in and bounces Vilonainen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Vilonainen looking for a sweep. Not yet Vilonainen, not yet.
Solmunen looking to pass the guard.
Solmunen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Solmunen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Vilonainen keeping moving, preventing Solmunen from controlling successfully.
Vilonainen is breathing heavily.
Vilonainen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Vilonainen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Solmunen is looking to improve his position.
Solmunen is trying to control but can't.
Vilonainen is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Solmunen has managed to free his arm - good work.
Vilonainen prevents Solmunen from improving his position.

Solmunen has one foot on Vilonainen's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Solmunen has his takedown stuffed
and Vilonainen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Solmunen's guard.
Solmunen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vilonainen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vilonainen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Solmunen has his foot on Vilonainen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vilonainen works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Solmunen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vilonainen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vilonainen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Solmunen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vilonainen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Solmunen pulls down on the head and he's put Vilonainen to sleep! This one is all over!
