Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny Delphine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konrad Kurze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delphine's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Let the bodies hit the floor!. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Delphine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Konrad Kurze! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurze misses with a wild body shot. Kurze shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kurze showed some decent athleticism there. Kurze is thwarting Delphine's attempts to control the position. Kurze missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kurze perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Delphine works his way to full guard. Good work. Kurze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kurze sitting in guard here, content to control. Kurze avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Delphine had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kurze defends it easily. Kurze trying to control the position from guard on top but Delphine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Delphine looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delphine looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kurze scoring with some ground and pound. Delphine has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kurze can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kurze is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Delphine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kurze is working Delphine over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kurze distracts Delphine with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kurze is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Let's hope that Kurze has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Kurze throws a big elbow that misses. Kurze advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delphine wants to improve his position but Kurze is controlling well.
Kurze is thwarting Delphine's attempts to control the position. Still in half guard, Kurze seems content to control. Delphine has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Kurze escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Kurze! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kurze working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Kurze wants to lay and pray for a moment but Delphine keeps working. Kurze working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Delphine takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Delphine sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Delphine wants to improve his position but Kurze is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delphine slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Delphine not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Delphine keeping moving, preventing Kurze from controlling successfully. Delphine really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Delphine manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Delphine throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kurze because Delphine loaded up on that one. Delphine looking to ground and pound but Kurze is blocking nicely. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Delphine cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Delphine with shots to the head and body - Kurze looks very uncomfortable down there. Kurze tries to reverse the position but Delphine maintains control. Delphine scoring with strikes but Kurze is staying in there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kurze can't escape the position.
Delphine landing shots from mount. Kurze tries to lock up and control but Delphine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Delphine looking to control but Kurze is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Delphine lands a big shot there that rocks Kurze but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Delphine throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kurze taking shots to the head. Delphine misses with a head shot. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Delphine cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That was a close round but I would say that Danny Delphine will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Delphine uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kurze.
Delphine steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kurze. That one must have hurt. Kurze scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Delphine doesn't seem bothered though. Delphine keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Delphine keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kurze. Delphine takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Kurze looks to throw the jab but Delphine is out of range. Kurze thows a body shot but no joy. Delphine on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurze throws a lazy right hand but Delphine sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kurze misses with a body shot.

Kurze fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kurze looks to land a left hand but Delphine moved out of range nicely. Kurze misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Delphine moves away from the strike by Kurze. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kurze. Delphine slips a straight right by Kurze. Kurze looks to score with a jab to the body but Delphine is just out of range. Kurze shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Delphine's guard. Kurze working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Delphine keeping moving, preventing Kurze from controlling successfully. Kurze stopping the sweep attempt from Delphine. Kurze content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurze works over Delphine with some ground and pound from guard. Delphine escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kurze gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Delphine is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kurze is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Delphine jumps into side control! Delphine goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kurze has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Delphine but great work by Kurze. Delphine manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kurze gets full guard. Kurze has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Danny Delphine overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Delphine working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Delphine postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kurze is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Delphine, into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurze trying to control the position from guard on top but Delphine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Delphine is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Delphine keeping moving, preventing Kurze from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Konrad Kurze was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kurze throws out a token jab with nothing on it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Konrad Kurze showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Delphine moves out of range of the strikes. Kurze is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Delphine's half guard. Delphine is looking for a sweep. Kurze is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Delphine looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Delphine regains full guard. Nicely done. Delphine working a defensive guard but Kurze manages to pass into side control anyway.
Delphine wants to control but Kurze postures up. Kurze is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Delphine has escaped the position, nice work there. Kurze in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Delphine is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
