Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ross Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Trooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maxwell comes to the cage accompanied by Sonne - Rammstein. Trooper has chosen №1 as his entrance music. Super Trooper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trooper shoots and misses
and Maxwell counters with a three punch combo that has Trooper backing up. Trooper nods at Maxwell to acknowledge the strikes.
Trooper shoots in for a takedown but Maxwell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Trooper uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Maxwell.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Trooper.
Ross Maxwell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Super Trooper.
Trooper displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maxwell throws out the jab.
Maxwell slaps away a takedown attempt from Trooper, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Trooper avoids a punch combination nicely.
Trooper is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Maxwell's half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Trooper is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Maxwell sees it coming and defends easily.
Maxwell is looking for a sweep. Trooper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Trooper with the ground and pound but Maxwell uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Trooper avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trooper is pushing down on Maxwell's leg trying to pass to half guard. Maxwell is fighting to maintain full guard but Trooper has managed to sneak the leg through.
Maxwell is trying to maintain the position but Trooper is very close to passing his half guard.
Trooper maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Maxwell could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Trooper has cracked it and Maxwell is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Trooper!

In his post fight interview, Super Trooper started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
