Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maubee Away (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rebaldo Louza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Away comes to the cage accompanied by Rude Boy Dreams. Rebaldo Louza is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Maubee Away!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rebaldo Louza!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Away shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Louza manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Louza is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Away trying to control but Louza is working from the bottom.

Louza has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Away is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Louza.
Away lands a decent elbow from side control.
Louza stops Away from passing to mount.
Away lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Louza down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Away looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Away wants to lay and pray for a moment but Louza keeps working.

Away wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Louza, who protects the arm well.
Away has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Away tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Away has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The strikes coming from Away are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Louza takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Away is putting a hurting on Louza here, landing some big shots from side control.

Away goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Louza has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Away but great work by Louza.
Louza lands some shots froms side control.
Away parries the strikes from Louza easily there. Louza is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Away to escape.

Louza goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Away rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Louza's guard! Nice work there by Away!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Louza is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Away throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Louza works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Louza tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Away loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Louza has an active guard here but Away has managed to pass into half guard.
Away is trying to control. Louza wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Away thows a huge punch but Louza dodges it nicely.

Away in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Louza tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Away!
