The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie closes the distance and clinches.
Lu is trying to break free.
Lu is looking to break free of the clinch but Gracie has double underhooks.

Lu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lu throws a combination that misses
and Lu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lu throws a nice inside leg kick.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gracie has a takedown stuffed.
Lu throws out a leg kick but Gracie moves out of range and Lu only half commits.
Lu misses with a head kick.
Lu with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Lu is defending well.
Gracie landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Lu is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him
Gracie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lu's head.
Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but Lu is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Gracie is trying for a kimura here. Lu looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gracie wins by kimura!
