Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nobby McNob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sirius Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nobby McNob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sirius Baker! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker closes this distance looking for a takedown but McNob circles away. Baker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McNob moves away. McNob scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Baker manages to work his way to half guard, despite McNob's best efforts. McNob is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Baker trying to hold on to McNob's head to control him but McNob postures up.
McNob is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
McNob wants to work for an arm triangle but Baker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Baker is refusing to be controlled, as McNob sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker controlling the position for now. McNob controlling the action here. McNob wants to control but Baker is keeping him busy. Baker is trying to stand up here but McNob is controlling him well. Baker keeps control of the position for the meantime.
We're going to have a standup here because Nobby McNob wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Baker goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McNob looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baker is fending him off so far but McNob persists. Nope, Baker circles away and we're back to standing. McNob shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McNob showed some decent athleticism there. McNob looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Baker punching from the bottom.
McNob slows the pace down in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McNob is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McNob perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. McNob thows a huge punch but Baker dodges it nicely.
Baker tries to roll over but McNob keeps him under control. McNob looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Baker missing with punches from the bottom.

McNob is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Nobby McNob just wasn't active enough. Baker is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Baker misses with a takedown attempt - McNob sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McNob looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baker is fending him off so far but McNob persists. Nope, Baker circles away and we're back to standing. McNob shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baker pinned against the cage. Baker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nobby McNob. That's going to take a lot out of him. McNob is breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The fighters circling - McNob throws out the jab but it was never going to land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nobby McNob dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
McNob slaps away a takedown attempt from Baker, before circling back to the center of the mat. McNob closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Baker did well to prevent McNob getting side control. Nobby McNob overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Well, if McNob is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Baker wants to get back to full guard. Baker tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Baker tries to roll over but McNob keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McNob in particular looking to stall.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nobby McNob. Nice sprawl there from McNob as Baker shoots in. Baker shoots for a takedown but McNob saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Nobby McNob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sirius Baker. Baker is breathing heavily. McNob closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Baker did well to prevent McNob getting side control. McNob lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. McNob is looking for submissions but instead, Baker has regained full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Baker tries to land a sweep but no joy. McNob controlling from the top position. McNob drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Baker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McNob has Baker in his guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McNob controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baker trying to control but McNob is working from the bottom. Baker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Nobby McNob wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Baker keeps the fight on the outside. Nobby McNob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A right-left combo lands from Baker. Baker fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Baker checks the leg kick nicely there.
Baker fails to land with a series of punches.
Baker closes the distance but McNob moves to the side and McNob counters with a single leg into guard. Baker didn't expect that. McNob has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Baker is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baker trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McNob forces his way into half guard. Baker looking for submissions from an awkward position here. McNob seems to be working for a kimura but Baker defends the submission attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McNob controlling the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nobby McNob dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
McNob changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. McNob wants to control but Baker is keeping him busy. McNob advances to mount. McNob takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. McNob landing strikes, looking to finish! Baker tries to hold on but McNob postures up. McNob looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker is desperately trying to improve his position but McNob has a good base and remains in mount. McNob controlling from mount. McNob has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Baker's face.
Baker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Baker is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! McNob has taken his back! McNob just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McNob struggling to keep hold of the position.
Baker is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if McNob gets his way!
A bit of a pause in the action here. McNob controlling the positon. McNob is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Baker knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Baker for a finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baker covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Baker tries to escape but McNob has the hooks in and won't let him break free. McNob lands strikes to the head. McNob doesn't have the hooks in and Baker manages to turn into his guard.
McNob wants to get back to his feet but Baker is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Baker won't allow McNob to sweep him here. McNob is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. McNob on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McNob tries to get out of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baker wanted to stand there but McNob had control of the position. McNob pulls Baker in close to prevent any damage. Baker tries to stand but McNob is controlling from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nobby McNob. Baker takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McNob pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Baker is looking to clinch but McNob is avoiding it.
Sirius Baker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nobby McNob is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Baker lands a two punch combo.
And that's the end of the fight! Nobby McNob showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for McNob, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
