Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Schwalle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schwalle comes to the cage accompanied by Max Payne theme. Steel has chosen Its a Fight as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oliver Schwalle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 15 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julius Steel! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Steel is looking to slow Schwalle down with leg kicks. Schwalle scores with a jab. Steel pushes Schwalle away with a front kick. Steel scores with a push kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schwalle manages to avoid it. Some wild striking there from Steel.
Steel walks into a jab. Schwalle gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Steel swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Schwalle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

A big right from Schwalle misses. Schwalle looks to land a combination but Steel avoids it well. Steel gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Schwalle cracks Steel with a right hand to the side of the head. Schwalle fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Schwalle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steel circles away quickly and effectively. Good standup being displayed there by Steel as he connects with a hook. No joy there for Steel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Schwalle throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Steel tries to move into range but Schwalle moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Schwalle. Schwalle moves into the clinch successfully.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Schwalle. Schwalle keeps control of Steel as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Good body shot from Schwalle.
Steel can't break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Steel. Steel tries to break free but Schwalle pushes him back against the cage. Steel has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Schwalle lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Schwalle slows down the pace here.

Schwalle lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Steel backwards. Steel misses with a short punch on the inside. Steel misses with a punch on the inside.

Schwalle misses with a hook from the clinch. Steel blocks a body shot from Schwalle. Schwalle lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Steel backwards. Steel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A looping hook to the body misses from Schwalle. Steel does a little dance to reset his feet. Steel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Steel scores with a jab. Schwalle misses with a few strikes there.
Steel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Steel there as he acknowledges the shot. Schwalle takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Schwalle is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schwalle rushes Steel and presses him up against the cage. Schwalle is working Steel over against the cage. Steel is looking to break free of the clinch but Schwalle has double underhooks. Schwalle keeps control of Steel as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Schwalle cracks Steel with a nice body shot. Steel looks winded! Steel wants to break the clinch but can't.

Steel manages to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schwalle throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Steel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Schwalle. Schwalle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Steel was well out of range. Poor timing from Schwalle. Oliver Schwalle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schwalle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Steel was well out of range. Poor timing from Schwalle. Schwalle throws an overhand right that lands on Steel's shoulder, as Steel tries to avoid the shot. Schwalle lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Schwalle.
It looks like Julius Steel has been cut. Schwalle closes the distance and pushes Steel back into the cage. Steel wants to get back to striking at distance but Schwalle won't allow it.

Steel misses with a straight left. Schwalle Throws a clean left jab. Schwalle Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Steel's chin! Steel crumbles to the ground and Schwalle follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Schwalle!
