Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Williams Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benson Hedges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Higher Ground . Hedges has chosen Jason 'Mayhem' Miller Dream 9 Entrance as his entrance music. Benson Hedges will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kendall Williams Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benson Hedges! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hedges leaves Williams Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Williams Jr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hedges shoots for a takedown but Williams Jr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hedges has closed the distance and engaged Williams Jr in a clinch.
Hedges has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Williams Jr uses from the top position. Hedges is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Williams Jr defends well. Hedges trying to control the position.
Williams Jr with a flurry of punches that miss. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams Jr throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hedges can't keep his opponent in guard - Williams Jr advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williams Jr has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams Jr working Hedges over with strikes here. Williams Jr connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
It looks like Benson Hedges has been cut. Williams Jr is landing with some decent strikes but Hedges is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hedges is in a horrible position here. Williams Jr smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Hedges in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams Jr dominating with strikes here.
That has opened up Benson Hedges's cut even more. Williams Jr in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Hedges looks winded! Hedges takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Hedges tries to hold on but Williams Jr pushes him away. Williams Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hedges on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hedges squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Williams Jr raining down hammerfists from mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Williams Jr pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The cut above Benson Hedges's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Williams Jr raining down shots from the mount! Williams Jr lands a heavy elbow. Williams Jr lands a big elbow. Williams Jr postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hedges looks a forlorn figure.

Benson Hedges's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Benson Hedges's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kendall Williams Jr! Kendall Williams Jr bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
