Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Eduardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Carlos Eduardo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Eduardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 24 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Jin Kim!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eduardo stuffs the takedown attempt from Kim. Kim gets slowly back to his feet.
Eduardo scores with a nice head shot.


It looks like Jin Kim has been cut.

Kim dives in and scores a takedown into Eduardo's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kim postures up in Eduardo's guard and throws a big left but Eduardo blocks it.
Kim trying to control but Eduardo is working from the bottom.
Kim is looking to advance position but Eduardo has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Kim holds on, trying desperately to control.
Kim is bucking up trying to escape but Eduardo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee warns Kim that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kim sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Eduardo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kim does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Eduardo winds up and cracks Kim with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Eduardo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Eduardo misses with a head shot. Kim uses the momentum to regain guard.
Eduardo throws an elbow that misses. Kim uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Eduardo's guard. Nice move by Kim!

Kim throws a strike but Eduardo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nice takedown defense from Eduardo. No joy for Kim on that attempt.

Eduardo has Kim pulled in close to control his posture.

Jin Kim has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Eduardo lands a right hook to the body.
Eduardo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kim manages to avoid it.
Eduardo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kim circles away quickly and effectively.
A decent looking cross lands there for Eduardo.
Eduardo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kim slips a straight right by Eduardo.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kim clinches up with Eduardo and pushes him back against the cage.
Eduardo manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Kim has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Eduardo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Eduardo lands a nice hook to Kim's body. Kim takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kim slips a jab and a cross from Eduardo.
Eduardo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Eduardo throws a series of punches but Kim avoids them all with ease.
Carlos Eduardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Carlos Eduardo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Kim.
Kim shoots in for a takedown but Eduardo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jin Kim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eduardo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Eduardo throws the left hand but Kim avoids the punch easily.
Eduardo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kim's calf.

Kim misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Eduardo lands a right hook to the body.
Eduardo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kim shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
