The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Mathieux misses the target.
Fitch throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mathieux gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fitch.
Fitch uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mathieux.
Fitch is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fitch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mathieux manages to avoid it.
Mathieux keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fitch bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mathieux's head backwards.
Mathieux is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mathieux misses with a shot to the body
and Fitch counters with a huge left! Mathieux is in big trouble! He's backing up but Fitch isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Mathieux from any more damage. A dominating finish by Fitch!
