Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Michael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Michael might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stairway to Heaven. Angelo Michael has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Angelo Michael!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Boyd!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd tries to clinch there but Michael circles away.
Boyd looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Michael attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Michael misses with a double jab.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Michael!
It looks like Cody Boyd has been cut.
Michael misses with a kick to the body.
Michael sizes up Boyd with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Boyd is rocked!
Michael throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Michael dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Boyd. That did some damage!
Angelo Michael seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Michael misses with a jab, cross combination.
Michael misses the shot to the body.
Michael throws a right and a left that Boyd avoids nicely.
Boyd has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Michael finds it's way round the side to connect with Boyd's head.
Boyd is still on wobbly legs! Can Michael finish him?
Boyd slips a jab and a cross from Michael.
A big left from Michael misses.
Michael darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Michael rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boyd moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Michael fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Boyd is out of range.
The fighters circling - Michael throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boyd slips a jab and a cross from Michael.
Michael lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Michael swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Michael is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Boyd like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Boyd from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Angelo Michael!
