Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clint Eastwick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clint Eastwick told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eastwick goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A right-left combo lands from Eastwick.

It looks like John Jackson has been cut.
Eastwick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jackson blocks a head kick by Eastwick.

Eastwick loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch.
Eastwick tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Eastwick wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Eastwick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Eastwick wants it to stay on the feet.
Eastwick uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.

Jackson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Eastwick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
