Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hans Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fergal Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fergal Rock will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hans Hansen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fergal Rock! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rock doesn't manage to clinch there - Hansen circles away.
Rock scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Rock lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Hansen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hansen tries to get out of the position. Rock tries to pass to full mount but Hansen defends it. Hansen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rock on the ground. Rock seems to be working for a kimura but Hansen defends the submission attempt. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rock looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rock is nestled in close to Hansen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hansen wants to improve his position but Rock is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hansen misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Rock looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Rock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hansen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Rock throws a looping overhand right but Hansen ducks down to avoid it. Rock clinches. Hansen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rock prevents it.
Hansen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rock just stands there and leans against the cage. Hansen turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Rock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rock is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rock taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Rock is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hansen off and has taken his back! Hansen rolls, trying to escape but Rock keeps control of the position.
Rock is persistently looking for the submission but Hansen is defending it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hansen is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Rock looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rock doesn't have the hooks in and Hansen manages to turn into his guard.
Rock wants to sweep but no luck. Rock not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hansen lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hansen is in close to Rock's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hansen stops Rock from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hansen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Rock trying to keep a closed guard but Hansen is proving a slippery customer.
Hansen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Rock utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rock manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hansen flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Hansen keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hansen is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Rock has taken his back.
Hansen rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rock works his way into full mount! Rock looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Hansen is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rock is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hansen is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hansen flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Rock anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hansen and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Rock slips an arm under Hansen chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Rock has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Rock is squeezing on Hansen like an anaconda would it's prey. Hansen fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Fergal Rock!
