Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobias Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tobias Franklin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tobias Franklin!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wallace throws a right hand that Franklin ducks under and follows up with a left that Franklin also avoids with ease.
Wallace moves into range and connects with a jab.
A lazy left from Wallace finds it's target.
Wallace lands a right hook to the body.
Wallace tests Franklin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wallace throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vincent Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Wallace.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Franklin.
Franklin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wallace closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wallace lands in his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Franklin controls Wallace momentarily but Wallace frees himself.
Wallace knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Franklin on the ground.

Wallace is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Franklin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wallace's guard.
Wallace is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Franklin wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position.

Franklin won't allow Wallace to get back to his feet.
Wallace on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wallace tries to get out of the position.

Wallace seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Wallace pushes Franklin off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Wallace circles away from the clinch attempt.
Franklin shoots in looking for a takedown. Wallace tries to sprawl out of it but Franklin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wallace manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Wallace loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Wallace stands up over Franklin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Wallace wants to pass the guard but Franklin is keeping the position.
Wallace is working Franklin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Franklin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wallace wants to improve his position but Franklin is controlling well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Franklin is trying to work for a kimura but Wallace is defending well.
Franklin wants to free his trapped foot but Wallace is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Wallace wants to control but Franklin is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wallace is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Franklin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Wallace tries to roll over but Franklin keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincent Wallace dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Franklin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vincent Wallace overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Wallace wants to pass the guard but Franklin is keeping the position.

Wallace has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Franklin to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wallace is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Franklin pulls down on the head and he's put Wallace to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tobias Franklin!
During a confident post fight interview, Tobias Franklin thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
