Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luis Chalas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moon Fight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Moon Fight was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luis Chalas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Moon Fight! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fight has Chalas up against the cage in a clinch.
Chalas breaks from the clinch.
Moon Fight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Chalas misses. Chalas keeps the fight on the outside. Fight fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fight throws a head kick but Chalas moves out of range.
Fight doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chalas counters with a nice double leg into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Fight has a closed guard, preventing Chalas from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fight controls Chalas momentarily but Chalas frees himself. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Luis Chalas wasn't doing enough on the ground. The fight stays on the outside here - Fight looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fight shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fight slows the pace down in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fight seems to be looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fight looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fight is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fight stops Chalas from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Moon Fight will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fight closes the distance and pushes Chalas back into the cage. Chalas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chalas pushes Fight up against the cage in a clinch. Fight jumps guard and drags Chalas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Fight escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chalas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fight has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chalas can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fight working a defensive guard but Chalas passes into half guard.
It looks like Chalas is going to stand back up.
Fight keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fight is looking to get back to full guard here but Chalas has managed to pass to side control instead. Chalas has control of an arm but Fight manages to advance to Chalas's back! Fight trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Fight is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chalas wants to get back to his feet. Fight is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Chalas has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Moon Fight has got the better of the ground game so far. Fight is breathing heavily. Fight is trying to control but Chalas is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fight looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You get the feeling that Chalas really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moon Fight showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Fight wants to control but Chalas is keeping him busy. Fight is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Chalas wants to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Moon Fight was stalling too much, according to the referee. Chalas connects with a single shot there. Chalas connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fight's hands. Chalas scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Fight tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Chalas scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Chalas rushes Fight and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Chalas breaks the clinch.
Fight keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chalas. Chalas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fight. Fight shoots in but no luck this time. Moon Fight is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Fight takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Luis Chalas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fight changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chalas tries to avoid it but Fight manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chalas to the ground. Chalas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chalas has Fight up against the cage in a clinch.
Fight drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chalas pulls his leg out and moves away.
Chalas moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chalas breaks the clinch.

Chalas misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fight.
Fight on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Chalas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fight with a lazy takedown attempt and Fight takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fight is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chalas sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Chalas rushes Fight and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chalas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fight needs to keep his hands up - Chalas had a free shot at his head there. Fight shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chalas but Chalas pushes him off and we're back to square one. Chalas thuds a left hand into Fight's body. Chalas with a jab. Chalas takes the fight into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chalas lands a shot to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Luis Chalas showed his dominance in that final round. I think Fight has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
