Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cote clinches with his opponent.
Ramirez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cote pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cote drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Cote passes Ramirez's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cote working over Ramirez with some ground and pound. Ramirez looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Ramirez is trying to control but can't.
Cote is controlling the pace.
