Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fahad Joudeh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joudeh comes to the cage accompanied by Vinnie Paz - Razor Gloves. Rex is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fahad Joudeh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricky Rex! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rex darts in and clinches Joudeh up against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Rex fails to land. Rex tries a body shot but Joudeh blocks it.
Rex has Joudeh pressed against the cage.

Rex misses with some punches.
Rex lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Joudeh or not. Joudeh tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rex just stands there and leans against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Rex - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Joudeh goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Joudeh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rex walks away with a smile on his face. Joudeh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Rex moves in looking to clinch but Joudeh pushes him off. Joudeh uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rex. Rex moves into the clinch. Rex misses with a punch on the inside.
Rex gets a trip takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Joudeh avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rex.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joudeh wants to get back to his feet. Rex not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rex looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Joudeh with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Rex missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rex is nestled in close to Joudeh, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Rex is thwarting Joudeh's attempts to control the position. Joudeh is looking for a sweep. Rex is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rex working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Rex is working for a kimura but Joudeh is defending it quite comfortably.
Rex is working for a submission of some sort.
Joudeh is refusing to be controlled, as Rex sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rex looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Joudeh with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. This has been an exciting period of action! Rex thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Joudeh's head. Joudeh tries to roll over but Rex keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joudeh is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rex scores with a couple of nice shots. Joudeh is refusing to be controlled, as Rex sits in half guard. Rex throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Joudeh is not content to let Rex control the position. Rex is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joudeh is trying is best to control the position here. Joudeh trying to control from the bottom.
Rex moves into full mount! Joudeh won't be happy about that! Rex scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Joudeh is rocked! Joudeh tries to reverse the position but Rex maintains control. Rex looking to finish Joudeh with some ground and pound. This is bad for Joudeh! Oh Joudeh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rex lands a big elbow. Rex postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Joudeh in real trouble here! The ref calls for Joudeh to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky Rex! Ricky Rex decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
